The “Koru” bracelet is a beautiful piece that embodies deep cultural significance, particularly in Maori culture. The Koru design, which resembles a spiral or an unfurling fern frond is rich in symbolism.

The “Koru” bracelet features a spiral design that represents new beginnings and growth. The curves symbolise the unfolding of new life and the potential for personal development.

Measure Your Wrist Accurately

Measuring your wrist is the first and most critical step in finding the perfect bracelet size. It’s crucial to measure accurately to ensure your bracelet fits comfortably.

  • To measure your wrist, you'll need a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

  • Wrap the measuring tape or string around your wrist, just above the wrist bone. If you're using a string, mark the point where it overlaps.

  • Lay the measuring tape or string flat and use the ruler to measure the length in centimetres.

Measure your wrist size

Step 1: Wrap the tape measure just above the wrist bone so that it fits snugly without feeling too tight or too loose.

Step 2: Mark where the tape measure overlaps. This is the exact circumference of your wrist.

Note: You can substitute the measuring tape with a string or ribbon and use a straight ruler to measure the length from the point of overlap to the end.

If it is not done properly, then the size will be inaccurate and I will make a bangle based on the loose size, which always has led to returns being too big.

Just to let you know, most people make the tape loose because they worry that I will make a “tight bangle”. This is not the case.
